Why are some days uneditable on the time entry page?

You can not add future time, so those days don't have an inputfield.

 

Why is there a now-checkbox when editing/creating timeblocks?

This can be used to edit more accurately, since there might be a difference between your clock and ours, and then there is the difference between entering the edit-page and submitting it.

 

Why can't I add future time?

This is a basic principle within TrackMyPeople. Since you track time, it's not logic to enter time before it has really been done.

 

Can I edit my time?

Of course you can! In your time overview, just edit the time record you want to edit, change your start- and enddate and time, and save your changes. That's all! All totals are automatically recalculated.

 

My Internet was out, what about my workdata?

You can easily add time on your dashboard.

 

Are the number of time entries limited?

We are using MySQL server as backend database, which can easily hold up to 5.000.000.000 records. So there are no practical limitations to the amount of data you want to enter.

 

How do I start tracking my time?

Register on the website for free, create a company and a project and start tracking your time using the widget or the website.

 

How do I add a timeblock?

The easiest way is click the "plus" icon on the dashboard, next to the timer. Watch the screencast!

 

I forgot to stop my counter, what to do?

You can edit your time blocks afterwards by logging in to the dashboard.

 

What is a Tracker?

A tracker can be anything you want to track time for. For now we have some predefined tracker types, like company, project, task, ... But in the future you'll be able to custom types.

 

Which trackers can I track for?

You'd have to have a role with the "can track"-permission for the tracker.

 

What is a free time block?

A 'free' block is a block without a hard start & stop date. They're used to add a certain amount of time without the need to timestamp it.

 

How do I add 'free' timeblocks?

You can enter free blocks just like you add a normal block. Just check the free-box to change the interface. Or you can use the time entry functionality which are of course also free blocks.
