Is it possible to report/filter data by the parent, e.g. can I extract the total of all time spent on tasks belonging to project A?

We'll go one step furter you can filter reports by any combination of trackers.

Hints:

1. Select mulitple trackers holding ctrl down while clicking
2. Click on one tracker and then on another holding shift down will select the range of trackers in between them too

 

What are time sheets?

A time sheet is a method for displaying the amount of a worker's time spent on each job.

 

How do I add a report?

Reports are automatically generated when you track your time you spend working on a project.

 

Can I export a report?

Yes, we provide an export to Excel function, which can be used by clicking on the Excel icon at the bottom of the tabular view

 

Can I make custom reports?

Yes, you can filter the tabular view and export the filtered report

 

How do I backup/export my data?

All data on the website is automatically backed up securely. You can export your data to Excel however.

 

Can I make graphs of my reports?

Graphs are automatically generated when you track your time you spend working on a project.

 

Can I customize the graphs?

For now graphs can contain cumulated tracker/user data. In the future you will have the option to see it as a stacked graph.

 

Can I save customized graphs?

This is not possible at this time.

 

Can I set my own customized graph as default?

This is not possible at this time.

 

What are those colored blocks in the calender?

When creating a project, you can choose a color for that project. The colors in the calendar represent your different projects you have created.

 

Can I get weekly/monthly automated reports send to my email or phone?

This is not possible at this time.

 

What kind of reports are available?

You can see your tracked time in the tabular view, simply showing the entries as records in a table. The calendar view is a more visual representation with a day, week and month view, while the time entry provides a clear overview on a weekly or daily basis whilst providing a handy inline editing functionality. You might also want to see the data in chart form, either for a tracker or user, for a custom period divided into days, weeks or months.

 

For which users can I see reporting?

You can see all time tracked by any users for trackers where you have a role with the "can see reporting"-permission
