How to install the TrackMyPeople Widget for the Yahoo Platform on Windows and Mac

This Widget is designed for the Yahoo Widgets platform, which is available on Windows and Mac.

Step 1: install the yahoo widget platform

• Download the Yahoo Widget Platform
• Run the Yahoo Widget Platform installer (widgetsus.exe) and follow the instructions
• When the installer is done, run the yahoo widgets platform, you will see a taskbar icon like this:

Step 2: using the TrackMyPeople Widget

• Download the TrackMyPeople Widget for your Operating System.
• Extract the zip file
• You will have 2 files now, a README (with a short version of this documentation) and a *.widget file which we will use with the yahoo widget platform
• Open the trackmypeople widget with the yahoo platform

• if it asks for confirmation: press "use widget", you have to give it permission to access the web and some files on your pc (only widget files)

• the widget will open and you will see your widget on your desktop
• right click on the widget and select preferences, fill in your username and password and you are ready to start tracking

You are now ready to start tracking your time from your desktop.
