Category: General by: Gijs Nelissen

It has been silent for a while. As we are working on alot of projects at the same time, we must sometimes make priorities.Today we realized some long awaited changes.

Online Timesheet Calendar

Week Timesheet : TimePunch Details

We improved the general "Look & Feel" of your personal timesheet as well as the employee timesheets (day, week & month view). You can now click timeblocks to get the time punch details (start date, stop date, description, project, …)

Personal Profile

Personal Profile Split up

Personal profile is now divided in different "sections". As the list of options/configuration is rapidly growing, we decided to split up the personal profile in different parts.

Our TODO list

  • Make auto attendance switch configureable (at client side)
  • Improve API authentication
  • Better integration for free timeblocks
  • Enhanced time reporting
  • Better documentation
  • New movies/screencasts
  • More FAQ & Bigger Knowledge Base

Improved profile editor

Category: General by: Gijs Nelissen

We have made visual improvements to the profile section in the dashboard: less scrolling, better overview and easier to maintain your personal information. One long page has been replaced by a multi-tabsystem

This way, you can easily find the right block of information you want to view and edit.

Multiple Cultures & Timezones

Category: General by: Gijs Nelissen

A web based timesheet used everywhere in the world

Because trackmypeople is a web based timesheet application we get signups from all around the globe. Recently alot of our users suggested us to improve the localised support. For example the calendar timesheet overview should show time in the preferred format, based on the user's culture.

timezone & culture settings

That's why we improved the support for different cultures/languages & timezones. Go to your personal profile to update/correct your timezone & culture settings.

Why would you need my timezone ?

To make sure all your "clock punching" actions are stored correctly (based on your timezone) we need to know your timezone. Based on the timezone setting we convert all your start/stop dates to a central unified format. So if your blocks have a strange offset (they start/stop one or multiple hours different from your computers time) make sure to check your timezone settings (in your personal profile).

Once you have correctly stored your personal timezone you should never have to update this again.
