so you want quality support ?

Category: Documentation by: Gijs Nelissen

To provide you, and our existing customers with good support we decided to start using ZenDesk for all our “support desk” needs. From now on you will find a nice little “support” or “feedback” button on the left side of each page. Clicking this link allows you to quickly ask a question, contact support or tell us about a feature you would love to see integrated in trackmypeople.

Next to that we have a growing knowledge base (in fact it’s a forum). A rock solid bug/issue follow-up system integrated with all emails coming in over at support@trackmypeople.com. I must tell you we are pretty fast on answering your questions.

New Search Bar

Category: General by: Bart Vanderstukken

If there was one thing our site was lacking, it would have to be a search bar. Until now…

We’ve included a search bar in the top navigation for the public site,

search_bar_public

and in the footer navigation for the secured backend,

search_bar_private

which will help you find:

  • For the public frontend (www.trackmypeople.com):
    • Frequently Asked Questions
    • API Guidelines
    • General Documentation
  • For the secured backend (secure.trackmypeople.com):
    • Frequently Asked Questions
    • Bug Tickets

Frequently asked question for everybody

Category: General by: Gijs Nelissen

Our FAQ includes now more than one hundred (that's +100 !) frequently asked questions, providing the best solution to your problem. We have reorganized the categories, in order to optimize the navigation to find the right question & answer.

On top of that we have integrated a search function and rating stars. Feel free to rate the answers that helped you solve a problem.

If you are still having troubles with a certain feature on TrackMyPeople, don't hesitate to report a bug or question .

Calendar Integration + Bugfixes/Features

Category: General by: Gijs Nelissen

You may have noticed we haven't been updating trackmypeople.com that much the last 2 days. In the background we were working on a much requested 'calendar' integration.

Log-in to your account and find out what we are talking about. In the 'my timesheet' section you will find two new buttons : Day View & Week View, these pages will give you a visual overview of the registered timeblocks for that period. Use the controls on top to navigate to previous weeks/days.

You can use the 'edit project' page to set a color for your project, this way all timeblocks for that project will be colored as specified. We will be adding a month calendar overview page soon

Other bugfixes / Improvements :

  • Better support for different Cultures (i18n)
  • Improved API response times
  • Enhanced FAQ styling
  • Seperate Support/Help page
  • Added colorpicker on project preferences
  • Added company-invite for users with no account
  • Ticket / Bugtracker : reply notification (user will now get a message when ticket was updated).

Keep en eye on this blog for more news.
