After a few days of testing we got plenty of feedback resulting in a big update. Use our new & improved time widget to track your time from your desktop (download here ).
What's new ?
New features :
- added option "open urls": this option will allow us to open an url from your widget. In the future we will use this to inform you about widget updates, conflicting time blocks or other urgent issues that need your immediate attention.
- added option : "automatic attendance tracking" : when this option is enabled, the widget will automatically start tracking your attendance as soon as the widget is loaded (or when you start your computer)
- added option : "stop on close" : this option will automatically stop your time tracking session as soon as the widget (or your computer) is closed.
- added option : "choose your display" : choose wether you want to use the widget in small / large view (see screenshots)
- new feature : timeblock comments : when closing a time block (after you have worked on a single project) you can enter a description. This description will be stored together with the timeblock details for future reference.
- bugfix : parsing errors when pressing stop multiple times
- bugfix : parsing errors when there is no internet connection

TrackMyPeople wants to be the best. And to become that nr 1 time tracking solution, we are fully aware we need to constantly improve our services to walk that 'extra mile'. For that same reason we are very proud to announce a new feature : custom user & project reports. For now we added the most important charts, if you have any specific reports in mind that will help you run your business easier, please let us know , we might add it...
On the "manage users" & "manage projects" pages you can now see a little icon in front. Use this icon to go to the reporting page. You should see something like this :
If you are listed as a project/company manager, you should be able to switch to other users or projects.
You can now create custom reports using the dateslider
If you play with these sliders (available on day/week/month page) you should be able to create reports like :
These reports will give you a better overview of a certain users time punching behaviour or general projects activity
Pretty impressive for a free time tracking solution, isn't it ?
Please let us know what you think about it, we'll be adding more reports pretty soon.

It has been silent for a while. As we are working on alot of projects at the same time, we must sometimes make priorities.Today we realized some long awaited changes.
Online Timesheet Calendar
We improved the general "Look & Feel" of your personal timesheet as well as the employee timesheets (day, week & month view). You can now click timeblocks to get the time punch details (start date, stop date, description, project, ...)
Personal Profile
Personal profile is now divided in different "sections". As the list of options/configuration is rapidly growing, we decided to split up the personal profile in different parts.
Our TODO list
- Make auto attendance switch configureable (at client side)
- Improve API authentication
- Better integration for free timeblocks
- Enhanced time reporting
- Better documentation
- New movies/screencasts
- More FAQ & Bigger Knowledge Base
